Northern Water’s annual Water Efficiency stakeholder meeting will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 29. This year’s theme, Drought and Regional Resilience: Impacts and Opportunities, will explore how drought is reshaping water supplies and communities throughout the Northeastern Colorado region. Join us for a conversation on the impacts of drought and the tools available to better communicate drought conditions. We will also explore how to design our landscapes for increased wildfire risk and discuss practical strategies to protect urban tree canopy and environments to build greater drought and climate resilience. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their own initiatives, hear from experts and gain actionable steps for their programs and communities. A detailed agenda will be available soon. Morning refreshments and lunch will be served.
