All tours are conducted from the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Overlook, which provides a full view of the valley from property on the eastern ridge just above the main dam construction. The tour allows the Chimney Hollow team to provide insight on several components of the reservoir construction, including the main dam, quarry, asphalt and concrete plant, inlet/outlet works and more. All tours will depart from Berthoud headquarters located at 220 Water Ave. Attendees will be shuttled to Chimney Hollow via Northern Water fleet vehicles and return to Berthoud. Due to site safety, attendees must be at least 18 years of age.
